Procurement & Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Procurement & Inventory Specialist is responsible for executing procurement activities and ensuring the timely availability of materials and operational supplies while maintaining optimal quality and cost in line with company policies and operational needs. The role involves managing purchase requests, supplier relationships, inventory levels, and coordinating with warehouses and customs.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review purchase requests from different departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and perform price comparisons to achieve best value.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with warehouses to ensure proper receipt of materials as per specifications and quantities.
• Follow up on invoices and procurement‑related financial documentation.
• Maintain and update supplier database and prepare periodic performance reports.
• Ensure adherence to approved procurement budgets.
• Resolve supply delays or issues in coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving procurement processes and reducing operational costs.
• Manage supplier relationships and lead negotiations to secure the best commercial terms.
• Handle import procedures and coordinate customs clearance processes.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure material availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
