Procurement Manager – EPCM Projects (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead end‑to‑end procurement activities for large‑scale EPCM projects in Saudi Arabia, supporting Hatch’s partnership with Ma’aden. This role oversees the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, schedule, and local content requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategy and planning for EPCM projects.
• Source engineering, construction services, equipment, and materials.
• Manage contracting, purchasing, expediting, logistics, and materials management.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, governance, and Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Interface with Ma’aden and key stakeholders to guarantee timely delivery.
• Monitor procurement performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation actions.
• Support contract administration, reporting, and project close‑out.
• Lead and develop procurement teams across office and site environments.

Required profile

• Extensive EPCM experience on large capital projects, preferably in mining.
• Strong background in contracts, commercial terms, and negotiation.
• Solid understanding of procurement strategies, systems, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Saudi market practices and local content requirements (asset).
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant degree in engineering or business preferred; international experience is a plus.
