Procurement Specialist – Global Procurement Operations

About the role

Join Amazon's Global Procurement Organization supporting Stores Operations across the EMEA region. As a Procurement Specialist within the Site Procurement Operations (SPO) team, you will act as a senior buyer and business partner, delivering strategic sourcing projects and driving value for internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end SPO process and policy across local, regional, and global levels.
• Lead sourcing activities, supplier due diligence, negotiations, risk assessments, and project delivery using Coupa and other tools.
• Conduct market research, evaluate supplier capabilities, and expand the GPO supplier base.
• Execute RFI/RFQ processes, analyze solutions, and recommend optimal procurement strategies.
• Support GPO initiatives such as tenders, cost optimization, sustainability, and process improvements.
• Partner with site leadership, finance, legal, and other GPO teams; lead MBR/QBR meetings and act as a subject‑matter expert.
• Identify savings opportunities, perform spend analysis, and contribute to strategy definition.

Required profile

• Senior buyer with experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, finance, legal, and supplier management teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience delivering projects under varying spend thresholds and timelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Coupa (ERP) or similar procurement platforms.
