Procurement Specialist

About the role

Wood is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support its EPCM projects in Riyadh. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and project teams to ensure that vendor data, materials, and equipment are delivered on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess EPCM contractor procurement plans, material requisitions and schedules.
• Support technical evaluation of vendor proposals, including bid tabulations and commercial bid evaluations.
• Validate purchase orders, vendor documentation, logistics strategies and quality‑assurance processes.
• Participate in factory acceptance tests, vendor inspections and expediting activities.
• Manage long‑lead items, track equipment and resolve vendor‑related issues.
• Integrate vendor data into project deliverables in coordination with engineering teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in Mining, Oil & Gas, EPC or EPCM environments.
• Strong understanding of contracting principles, contract terms and procurement processes.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional project teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Preference will be given to Saudi nationals.
