Procurement Specialist

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers in line with the company's objectives and budget.
• Negotiate contracts to obtain the best terms and pricing while maintaining quality standards.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, using procurement software to track orders and monitor inventory.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and tailor solutions that support project deadlines.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and resolve issues that arise.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, supplier performance and policy compliance.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and help develop procurement policies and procedures.
