Procurement Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Procurement Team Leader to head our procurement function at DYNEX Arabia in Khobar. The role involves shaping procurement strategy, driving cost‑saving initiatives and ensuring smooth operations across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement processes, manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts aligned with financial strategies.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that deliver cost efficiencies and improve quality of goods and services.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing procurement team, providing guidance, feedback and training.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance data to optimise practices and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Monitor and evaluate procurement processes, identifying improvement areas and implementing best practices.
• Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and challenges.
