Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer will support NAPCO’s manufacturing operations by planning, executing, and continuously improving production processes. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop new products, optimise asset performance, and ensure efficient use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and plan work and project activities to meet short‑ and long‑term production objectives.
• Operate production machines according to Standard Operating Procedures and maintain related documentation.
• Monitor asset conditions, analyse real‑time data and prioritise maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing tools such as Just‑In‑Time, Six Sigma, 5S, SMED and PDCA.
• Develop, upgrade and standardise design solutions to improve product ergonomics, marketability and manufacturability.
• Schedule production activities to maximise efficiency while controlling cost and quality.
• Inspect and test tools, spare parts, raw materials and finished goods using laboratory equipment.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of industrial production equipment and office automation software.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in manufacturing.
• Ability to analyse asset data and optimise maintenance resources.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement.
• Proven capability to develop and implement process enhancements.
