Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer will lead production activities while working closely with Safety, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Production team leaders. The role focuses on improving safety, quality, delivery and cost through effective process design, Lean manufacturing principles, SAP master‑data integrity and structured problem‑solving.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the assembly of GEIS components and modules into complete bays on a lean, flow‑based production line.
• Coordinate plant operations to meet production schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials to the shop floor.
• Maintain SAP master data, monitor production forecasts and report key figures on a monthly basis.
• Support equipment safety, EHS compliance and coordinate guarding requirements with the HSE department.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, recognize improvement areas and implement action plans.
• Oversee product quality control, conduct plant meetings and ensure a safe working environment following Eaton‑MESH guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (MS/MBA a plus).
• 5–8 years of experience in production, manufacturing or fabrication environments.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex production planning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP for master‑data management and production planning.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and process design.
• Experience with structured problem‑solving methodologies and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) procedures.
