Production Manager – Mixing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager – Mixing to lead and optimise the mixing operations of a tyre manufacturing plant. The role focuses on delivering production targets, improving product quality, and building a high‑performing operational team in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute production plans, ensuring volume targets are met through effective capacity, manpower and resource planning.
• Strengthen product quality, analyse production losses and implement actions to reduce waste and downtime.
• Maintain HSE compliance and drive initiatives to improve energy, water consumption and sustainable manufacturing.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, assess machinery capability and support investment projects.
• Apply Lean practices, SOPs and continuous‑improvement methodologies to boost operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach and develop production teams with clear objectives, competency development and structured training.
• Support quality and customer audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and related standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the tyre industry.
• Proven track record in industrial production management and team leadership.
• Hands‑on experience with at least two of the following machines: Comerio Calenders, Fischer Cutting Machines, Troester Extruders.
• Strong knowledge of OEE, cycle time, capacity planning and loss analysis.
• Deep understanding of Lean manufacturing, HSE, behavior‑based safety and quality audit standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in English; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
