Production Operator

About the role

The Production Operator ensures smooth, safe, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment while maintaining product quality and production targets. This role works closely with quality inspectors, helpers, and maintenance teams to keep the line running without interruptions.

Key responsibilities

• Validate that all required documents (JFT, IFM, etc.) are available before each job to avoid downtime.
• Operate machinery according to Work Instructions and IFM, following safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and request support when needed to minimise production loss.
• Coordinate with the QC Inspector to verify startup runs and ensure finished goods meet specifications.
• Report quality defects to QC and the Team Leader for corrective action.
• Request maintenance support through the Team Leader for corrective maintenance.
• Assign tasks to Helpers, maintain 5S standards, and communicate bag and pallet requirements.
• Set filling scales, record daily production data in DPR and ERP systems, and submit reports to the Team Leader.
• Complete machine parameter forms for approval and system logging.
• Check product and pallet labels for accuracy and correct packing mode.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with helpers, QC, and maintenance teams.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical documents.
