Production Planner

About the role

The Production Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, ensuring timely completion of jobs and coordination with maintenance and supply chain teams. This role supports the manufacturing floor by aligning resources, monitoring progress, and reporting performance metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare job order production schedules for all processes and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate sample and internal trial timelines.
• Develop a tentative monthly preventive maintenance plan and liaise with the maintenance planner.
• Attend daily production and customer service meetings to provide updates on targets and delays.
• Generate contribution margin reports for produced orders.
• Produce monthly reports for the production planning head, customer service manager and supply chain manager.
• Ensure material availability for at least 48 hours of production by moving stock from external to internal warehouses.
• Monitor and follow up on all activities related to the production process and scheduled maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong reading, writing and arithmetic abilities.
• One to two years of experience in manufacturing processes, procedures and machinery.
• Familiarity with ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System.
• Additional scheduling, manufacturing courses or seminars are a plus.
