Production Planning Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Production Planning Officer for a leading fit‑out and manufacturing company in Riyadh. The role will plan, coordinate and monitor factory production activities across multiple divisions to ensure smooth operations, efficient resource use and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and monitor detailed production schedules using Primavera P6 based on project timelines, factory workload and capacity.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, technical, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing activities.
• Monitor material availability, manpower allocation, machine utilization and production capacity to avoid delays and bottlenecks.
• Track daily production progress across departments and prepare weekly and monthly planning reports.
• Follow up on fabrication requirements, shop drawings, cutting lists and production data from technical teams.
• Support production recovery plans and priority scheduling when delays occur.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress, factory output, production targets and delivery schedules through ERP and planning systems.
• Identify risks impacting timelines and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in factory and production coordination meetings to ensure alignment.
• Maintain accurate planning records, forecasting data and performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of production planning experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in factory‑based operations such as joinery, metal fabrication, fit‑out manufacturing, exhibitions or industrial fabrication.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production sequencing, factory operations and capacity planning.
• Solid working knowledge of Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Experience with ERP systems and production reporting tools (highly preferred).
• Strong analytical, coordination and reporting skills.
