Project Coordinator

About the role

GEMA designs technology‑driven immersive experiences for museums, institutions and brands. The company’s production studio is in Porto, Portugal, and they are looking for a Project Coordinator to be the day‑to‑day presence on projects in the Kingdom, based in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with clients, main contractors, AV hardware suppliers and other trade contractors in Riyadh.
• Attend site and design meetings, take minutes and follow up on actions and approvals.
• Collect client inputs (content, data, brand assets) and keep the input schedule on track.
• Review Arabic content and adaptations with local partners before client submission.
• Support the Porto team during installation, testing and commissioning on site: access, permits, logistics, local suppliers.
• Report weekly to the project managers in Porto.

Required profile

• Fluent English and Arabic, spoken and written.
• 3+ years as a project coordinator in fit‑out, exhibitions, events, AV, construction or creative projects.
• Very organised, proactive and comfortable working with several stakeholders and a remote team.
• Based in Riyadh with the right to work in Saudi Arabia.

Required skills

• Project coordination for fit‑out and exhibition projects.
• Experience with AV hardware and construction processes.
