Project Director – Facility Management

About the role

The Facility Management Project Director will lead the delivery of multi‑site FM projects, ensuring operational readiness, quality, compliance and cost control. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end project execution, vendor performance and stakeholder satisfaction across a portfolio of facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle – planning, mobilisation, execution, handover and operational stabilisation.
• Define FM operating models, service levels, KPIs and continuous‑improvement plans.
• Lead procurement, vendor onboarding, SLA definition and contract governance.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programmes and asset reliability strategies.
• Ensure health, safety, security and regulatory compliance across all sites.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasts and lifecycle cost optimisation.
• Maintain quality standards for housekeeping, HVAC/MEP, electrical, plumbing, security, landscaping and waste management.
• Provide regular performance reporting, risk and issue management to senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate smooth transitions for new site onboarding, service expansions or contract renewals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management or Business Administration (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of experience in facility management or integrated facility services, with senior‑level ownership of multi‑site projects.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale outsourced FM services.
• Strong knowledge of FM processes, SLA/KPI management and work‑order systems.
