Project Engineer – Architectural Fit‑Out Specialist

About the role

The Project Engineer will lead the execution of interior fit‑out projects, ensuring that all works are delivered on time, to quality standards and in line with approved designs. Working closely with the Project Manager, consultants and subcontractors, the role bridges design and construction to achieve seamless project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage interior fit‑out works according to drawings, specifications, schedule and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, clients, subcontractors and internal teams for smooth execution.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals and samples for compliance.
• Resolve clashes between architectural, MEP and fire protection works.
• Monitor daily site activities, prepare weekly/daily work plans and track progress.
• Handle RFIs, technical queries, variations and change orders.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials by liaising with Procurement.
• Supervise subcontractors, assess performance and enforce safety and quality requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and support cost control, inspections and final handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in interior fit‑out or turnkey construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of fit‑out materials, construction methods and finishing works.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
