Project Engineer – Civil (EHV Transmission)

About the role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Civil) to lead the execution of EHV overhead transmission line projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves coordinating design, procurement, construction and commercial activities to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with design office, client consultants, suppliers and vendors to obtain design and material approvals according to schedule.
• Prepare, enforce and monitor the construction programme, including procurement, storage, manpower planning and subcontractor management.
• Manage technical, contractual and commercial issues such as submittals, invoicing, payment collection, variations and change orders.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical drawings, equipment lists and specifications, ensuring ready availability for the site team.
• Implement the project Quality Assurance and EHS plan throughout construction.
• Promote an ethical, professional work culture and proactively address significant issues before they impact the client or company.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience executing EHV overhead transmission line projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to liaise with design teams, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of technical, contractual and commercial aspects of large‑scale civil projects.
• Knowledge of QA and EHS standards applied on construction sites.
