Project Engineer – Electrical (EHV OHTL & Substation)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Electrical to lead the execution of major 380 kV overhead transmission line (OHTL) and substation projects for the Saudi Electricity Company. The role involves planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring all engineering and construction activities under EPC contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate electrical engineering and site execution for OHTL and substation projects.
• Oversee project phases from engineering and procurement through construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Review and align engineering designs, technical specifications, single‑line diagrams, construction drawings, and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with SEC/GCC standards, specifications, and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with SEC, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–15+ years of experience in electrical power transmission projects, preferably 380 kV and above.
• Strong experience with EHV OHTL and/or substation projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC.
• Familiarity with SEC project standards and approval processes is highly preferred.
