Project Engineer

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Project Engineer to lead electrical and power projects across Saudi Arabia, working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful delivery from tender to commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders including technical project managers, supply chain, field services, finance, and sales to process orders and contracts.
• Review customer contracts, RFQs, and tender documents to identify gaps and ensure compliance.
• Manage order booking and invoicing milestones in SAP, following CPP guidelines.
• Analyze project costs, maintain financial forecasts, and improve order margins.
• Schedule and track project execution using MS Project, and maintain site execution records.
• Travel to project sites as required and stay on‑site for execution and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics or Power Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience with Schneider medium‑ and low‑voltage equipment.
• Background in site execution of extensions, upgrades, retrofits, preferably in oil & gas projects (e.g., ARAMCO, SABIC, Petro Rabigh).
• Testing and design experience is a plus.
