Project Lead / Senior Project Manager – Data Centers

About the role

We are partnering with an international engineering and construction business that is entering a major growth phase across the Middle East. The company is rapidly building out its core project delivery team in Riyadh and seeks a highly capable Project Lead / Senior Project Manager to take the helm on complex, high‑tech construction projects, primarily data centers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project delivery for complex, high‑tech construction projects (data centers, semiconductors, biotech) from inception through handover.
• Shape regional operations by contributing to project delivery frameworks, SOPs, and best practices for the Riyadh core team.
• Guide, mentor, and scale a high‑performing project team in line with ambitious growth targets.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, sub‑contractors, and internal global stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Vision 2030 objectives.
• Maintain rigorous control over schedules, budgets, technical compliance, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager or Project Lead within a general contractor environment.
• Direct experience delivering mission‑critical facilities such as data centers, semiconductors, or advanced biotech facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through complex, fast‑paced project lifecycles.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive problem‑solving in high‑growth, foundational environments.
• Experience working in the Middle East, especially the KSA market and Vision 2030 initiatives, is highly advantageous.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
