Project Management Specialist

About the role

The Project Management Specialist will lead all localization activities, ensuring they align with internal and external stakeholders and comply with LCGPA and GAMI requirements. This role supports the execution of SAAMS’ IPP contracts and contributes to credit collection through effective coordination and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor localization projects from initiation to delivery.
• Integrate LCGPA and GAMI guidelines into framework agreements via the unified procurement centre.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to secure approvals for localization agreements.
• Identify strategic categories and establish controls, standards, and pillars for localization.
• Participate in internal and external stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare and maintain program documentation, directives, procedures, and reports.
• Control contractual deliverables and collect contractual evidence.
• Develop and report KPIs according to program needs.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the program.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Aviation Management.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with localization or offset projects is a plus.
• Project or program management qualification is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of aerospace and aviation concepts, as well as LCGPA and GAMI guidelines.
