Project Manager – Aviation / PMO Lead

About the role

WSP is looking for an experienced Aviation Project Manager / PMO Lead to drive day‑to‑day operations on a major aviation programme in the Middle East. The role ensures that project activities meet performance, schedule and quality targets while coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track project progress against schedule and budget.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as needed.
• Support commercial and contractual workflows, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate internal multidisciplinary teams and external partners to maintain smooth project execution.
• Prepare and deliver structured status updates to the Project Director, highlighting emerging issues and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale aviation projects or programmes.
• Strong understanding of PMO processes, risk management and KPI monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑cultural environment.
