Project Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale construction and cultural projects in Abha, Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Client Representative/Program Director, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall project execution plan, schedule, and budget.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinating engineering, architectural, and fit‑out activities.
• Monitor progress, implement corrective actions, and manage risks and mitigation strategies.
• Establish project milestones, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms; track cost, resources, and schedule performance.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and international standards through site inspections and audits.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies across the project.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and contractors; lead coordination meetings and resolve design, construction, or scheduling issues.
• Manage variations, claims, and contractual communications; prepare regular project reports for senior management.
• Oversee project close‑out, including as‑built documentation and final handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• 12–15 years of experience managing large‑scale construction or cultural projects.
• Proven track record in project leadership, cost control, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international construction standards.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Experience using project management software for scheduling and reporting.
