Project Manager - Fit Out & Finishing

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead interior fit‑out and finishing projects from concept through handover. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality commercial and residential spaces while meeting budget, schedule and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from design development to final handover.
• Develop detailed schedules, monitor progress and proactively address delays.
• Coordinate site activities and manage subcontractors and trades.
• Source, negotiate and manage suppliers, contractors and vendors.
• Ensure exceptional quality for finishes such as paint, flooring, joinery, ceilings and partitions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with design, safety and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures and ensure financial accountability.
• Review technical drawings and specifications for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Implement health and safety protocols across all sites.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, architects and internal teams to align goals.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and resolve issues promptly.
• Integrate MEP systems with interior finishes and drive sustainability innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in interior fit‑outs, luxury finishes or commercial projects.
• Professional project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of GCC construction standards and fast‑track project environments.
• Proficiency with project‑management software (MS Project, Primavera) and design tools (AutoCAD, Revit).
