Project Manager - Site Supervision (Aviation)

About the role

Egis is looking for an experienced Project Manager (Site Supervision) to lead the PMC site supervision team for a major aviation project in Riyadh. The role acts as the key representative of the PMC, overseeing the Contractor's site activities so that project delivery aligns with the Client's objectives, approved design, program, quality, HSE, contractual requirements and applicable aviation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the PMC site supervision team across all disciplines and work fronts, and provide overall site leadership for supervision and construction management.
• Act as the main PMC interface with the Client, Contractor, Designer, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the Contractor's execution of works against approved designs, specifications, method statements, program and contractual requirements.
• Monitor progress, productivity, resources and sequencing against the baseline program and milestones.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, technical queries and inspection requests, and coordinate design and construction interfaces.
• Lead resolution of technical issues, NCRs, site observations and outstanding actions, and oversee quality and HSE implementation.
• Ensure compliance with aviation requirements, authority regulations, airside operational constraints and standards, and supervise airside and landside works such as aircraft pavements, taxiways and aprons.
• Coordinate supervision activities with due regard for airport operations, safety, security and operational interfaces.
• Lead site progress and coordination meetings, review testing, commissioning, handover and snagging deliverables, and report regularly to the PMC Project Director/Client.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including significant project management and site supervision experience, with at least 5 years in aviation.
• Proven experience in a PMC, consultant or client-representative organisation on major aviation projects, preferably with complex airside and landside works.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary site supervision teams on large-scale projects and managing Contractors, designers, consultants, authorities and the Client.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, specifications and project delivery processes.
• PMP, PRINCE 2 or equivalent preferred; excellent English, Arabic a plus.
