Project Manager – Substations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead substation projects from initial planning through to close‑out. The role requires coordinating design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project outlines in coordination with tender and technical teams.
• Develop project budgets and detailed time schedules for all activities.
• Finalize purchase and service contracts in collaboration with the supply chain team.
• Interpret and apply AlGihaz’s standard terms and conditions to contracts.
• Manage critical‑path scheduling to maintain sufficient project float.
• Coordinate substation design with all relevant stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑functional teams of contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Monitor progress invoicing and control project progress against the schedule.
• Report project status to management and other stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and ensure a valid safety and health plan is in place.
• Implement quality standards through the quality team to ensure a safe work environment.
• Plan and execute close‑out activities for early project completion.
• Perform overall quality control of work procedures and regularly report on project status.
