Project & Stakeholder Manager

About the role

Assystem is seeking a Project & Stakeholder Manager to lead the delivery of complex engineering projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, managing client and authority relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from initiation through design development, approvals, tender support and close‑out, maintaining the Project Execution Plan.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (architecture, civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, telecom, utilities) and ensure deliverables meet programme, budget and quality targets.
• Oversee project controls, including schedule, budget, earned‑value management and performance reporting.
• Develop and implement stakeholder management plans, liaise with clients, authorities, utilities and contractors, and track stakeholder actions.
• Handle Saudi authority approvals (SECN, NWC, CST, STC, RCJY), prepare approval matrices, submit technical packages and monitor permits.
• Control scope, manage change requests, maintain risk and opportunity registers, and support commercial and claim processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale engineering projects, preferably in the energy or nuclear sector.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian authority procedures and utility coordination.
• Excellent ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate with senior client representatives.
• Demonstrated competence in risk, opportunity and change management.
