Proposals & Pursuits Manager

About the role

Gateworth is recruiting, on behalf of a prestigious multinational business, a Proposals & Pursuits Manager based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role supports the company's growth across the Middle East by identifying new business opportunities, leading pursuit activity and developing bid-winning proposals. It works alongside the global Bids function and Business Development team to plan and run client development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of proposals so they are completed to a high standard and on time.
• Develop pursuit strategies, define key messaging and position the business for each opportunity.
• Draft, review and refine proposal content, presentations and supporting documentation.
• Partner with internal teams and senior stakeholders to qualify opportunities and plan pursuits.
• Create capability statements, credentials documents and client-facing collateral.
• Use knowledge management and CRM systems to source content and speed up proposal work.
• Maintain an up-to-date proposal content library aligned with brand standards.
• Track and analyse proposal activity to improve win rates and bid effectiveness.
• Share lessons learned and align local bid activity with regional and global priorities.

Required profile

• Open exclusively to Saudi nationals under the company's Saudization initiative; full fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
• Experience managing end-to-end bids and pursuits, including developing winning strategies.
• Preference for candidates from multinational organisations with dedicated Bids teams, ideally in engineering, professional services, legal or financial services.
