PSD Team Leader L3

About the role

Lead and supervise Platform Screen Door (PSD) maintenance activities on Line 3, ensuring safe working practices, high system availability, rapid fault recovery and continuous development of technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Lead PSD technicians during daily maintenance, emergency response, inspections, testing, troubleshooting and recovery activities.
• Allocate manpower, tools, spares, vehicles and test equipment based on maintenance priorities and service availability targets.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance on platform screen doors, control panels, drive mechanisms, sensors, interlocks and associated field equipment.
• Lead technical troubleshooting for PSD failures, provide complex fault diagnosis and escalate issues to Engineering with accurate evidence.
• Review work orders, validate defect closure and ensure maintenance reports are accurate and submitted on time.
• Coordinate with OCC, station operations, safety teams and planners during service‑impacting works and recovery interventions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, shift briefings, safety observations and on‑the‑job coaching to improve competence, quality and safety behavior.
• Support incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, repeated‑failure prevention and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably with railway PSD systems, including supervisory or lead‑technician responsibilities.
• Proven competence in Permit‑to‑Work, LOTO, risk assessment and technical reporting.
