Purchase Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the sourcing strategy for raw and packaging materials in a bakery/FMCG manufacturing environment, ensuring cost‑effective supply while meeting strict food safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
• Negotiate with suppliers, manage annual contracts and maintain long‑term vendor relationships.
• Oversee end‑to‑end purchasing of raw and packaging materials, controlling cost and quality.
• Manage inventory to avoid stockouts, overstocking and expired stock.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations, audits and ensure compliance with SFDA, GMP, HACCP and ISO standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Food Science or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 8‑10+ years of progressive procurement experience in Food & Beverage, FMCG or bakery manufacturing.
• Proven track record in vendor negotiation, strategic sourcing, contract management and cost analysis.
