Purchase Runner – Procurement & Logistics Freelancer

About the role

Electra is looking for a proactive Purchase Runner to support its procurement activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on sourcing, collecting, and delivering materials, products, samples, and urgent procurement items for events and projects within the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure consumables, samples, and equipment from local markets and suppliers.
• Visit suppliers, manufacturers, and trading centres to assess product quality, specifications, and availability.
• Obtain quotations, technical specifications, and catalogue information.
• Coordinate collection, transportation, and delivery of purchased items to warehouses, offices, or project sites.
• Support urgent procurement requests and expedite deliveries when needed.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors, monitoring responsiveness and reporting issues.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier visits, quotations, and deliveries; manage petty‑cash and expense documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Electra’s procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in procurement, sourcing, or related logistics functions.
• Ability to travel locally across Saudi Arabia and interact with suppliers face‑to‑face.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify product specifications.
• Good organizational skills for managing records and expense documentation.
