Purchasing Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Manager to lead the procurement of food and non‑food items for a 5‑star hotel within the Accor network. You will ensure the best quality and price while supporting the hotel’s commitment to responsible hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor market trends, price changes, and product availability.
• Manage all importing, purchasing, and receiving procedures.
• Obtain at least three quotations for each purchase request and negotiate with suppliers.
• Collaborate with department heads, the General Manager, and the Executive Chef on quality, quantity, and specifications.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of suppliers, prices, and quantities.
• Work closely with the store keeper to ensure proper storage, FIFO handling, and timely delivery.
• Conduct regular market visits to assess shortages, seasonal variations, and price fluctuations.
• Provide management with regular market updates and propose new products or alternatives.
• Adhere to ethical standards by refusing commissions, gifts, or personal advantages from suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
