Purchasing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee all food and beverage procurement activities for our operations in Madinah. The role ensures timely ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of items while maintaining quality, cost control, and compliance with sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an approved vendor list covering all categories.
• Assist the Executive Chef with purchasing decisions to support quality and profitability.
• Order food and beverage supplies based on business needs and manage inventory rotation using FIFO principles.
• Monitor and enforce sanitation and safety standards in line with brand guidelines.
• Coordinate deliveries with kitchen, restaurant management, and vendors to meet production schedules.
• Verify invoices against shipments for quantity, quality, weight, and specifications.
• Perform daily and period‑end cost calculations using existing computer programs.
• Maintain accurate inventory controls, including stock levels, dating, rotation, and requisitions.
• Prepare timely reports, presentations, and administrative documents such as menu costing and C‑7s.
• Ensure compliance with financial and accounting procedures for invoice administration and bookkeeping.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (4‑year program).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in purchasing or a related discipline.
