Purchasing Officer – Saudi Nationals Only

About the role

The Purchasing Officer will support FAENA's expansion in Saudi Arabia by sourcing and procuring goods and services needed for daily operations. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective acquisition while maintaining quality and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, request quotations and compare price, quality and delivery terms.
• Issue, track and follow up on purchase orders to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate with stores/warehouse to monitor stock levels and replenish inventory.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier database and documentation for audit purposes.
• Collaborate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing.
• Assist in resolving issues related to damaged, incorrect or missing items.
• Provide regular reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or store operations.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and inventory control.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP or Oracle NetSuite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
