Purchasing Representative

About the role

The Purchasing Representative is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end procurement process across all departments. You will handle a high volume of purchase orders, ensure compliance with company policies, and support cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Process more than 100 trade‑non purchase orders each month, reviewing requests and verifying business needs.
• Identify suppliers, obtain quotations, compare offers and negotiate prices and commercial terms.
• Issue and track purchase orders using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers until the procurement process is completed.
• Manage exhibition hospitality procurement and related operational requirements.
• Procure employee accommodation items such as furniture, appliances and kitchen supplies according to approved policies for each job category.
• Review and monitor purchase requests for policy compliance and business validity.
• Prepare weekly reports on purchase order volume and value for performance monitoring.
• Achieve cost savings by sourcing new suppliers and negotiating better prices.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle a high volume of purchase orders.
• Good understanding of procurement policies and procedures.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to produce accurate reports and track procurement performance.
