QA Engineer (Junior to Mid-Level)

About the role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure platform stability, multi-tenant isolation, Arabic/English localization and performance across build, deployment and operational phases. The role combines automated regression testing with hands‑on manual testing on our SaaS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Write, execute and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright/TypeScript for UI and RSpec for GraphQL API within CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform multi‑tenant isolation testing, verifying row‑level access control and API authorization to prevent data leakage.
• Execute Arabic RTL and localization testing, including UI mirroring, bidirectional text and date format validation.
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke and accessibility testing (WCAG 2.2 AA) using axe‑core and manual methods.
• Support performance and load testing with k6 or JMeter to meet latency targets.
• Own defect lifecycle: report, verify fixes, triage root causes and track resolution SLAs.
• Draft and maintain bilingual test plans and support UAT preparation with test data and environment setup.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of hands‑on QA and test‑automation experience on enterprise web or SaaS applications.
• Proficiency in writing automated tests with Playwright, TypeScript, Selenium or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, Bruno) and GraphQL/REST services.
• Strong SQL skills for PostgreSQL or MySQL data setup and verification.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, able to test RTL UI and bilingual documentation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Cloud Build or GitLab CI.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment and using AI tools like Claude Code.
