QA Engineer – Software Testing (Saudi National)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and software quality standards. This position is open to Saudi Nationals only, and candidates with at least one year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Al Qassim.

Key responsibilities

• Review business requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to identify potential issues and provide feedback.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
• Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well‑structured test cases.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing software products.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug‑tracking tools.
• Conduct API testing and collaborate with development teams to resolve identified issues.
• Write SQL queries to validate data and verify system functionality.
• Perform cross‑browser and cross‑device testing for web applications.
• Test mobile applications and use debugging tools to investigate issues.
• Collaborate with automation teams to expand automated test coverage.
• Monitor testing progress, report issues, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Saudi National.

Required skills

• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, etc.).
• Experience with web and mobile application testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
