QA QC Engineer Electrical

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer – Electrical will lead the quality assurance and control activities for all electrical works on our projects in Jubail. You will ensure compliance with international standards, client specifications and local regulations while supporting the site teams to deliver safe and reliable installations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and implement Project Quality Plans, Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans for electrical scope.
• Conduct internal audits, prepare for external audits and verify that all materials and equipment match approved submittals.
• Inspect and test cable trays, conduits, trunking, cable pulling, terminations, LV/MV panels, MCCs, DBs, earthing, lightning protection, light‑and‑power, fire alarm and ELV/communication systems.
• Perform insulation resistance, continuity, hi‑pot/HV, earth resistance, loop impedance, RCD and functional tests.
• Raise, track and close Non‑Conformance Reports and manage corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare RFIs, MIRs, test reports, daily/weekly QC reports, QA/QC logs and handover documentation including As‑Built and O&M manuals.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, clients, subcontractors and the safety team, and attend QA/QC meetings.
• Ensure adherence to LOTO, electrical safety rules and permit‑to‑work systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical QA/QC on construction or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with IEC, NEC, IEEE and BS standards and local authority regulations.
• Ability to conduct audits, inspections and a wide range of electrical tests.
• Strong documentation skills and capability to support site teams.
