QA/QC Coordinator

About the role

The QA/QC Coordinator will ensure the effective implementation of the project Quality Management System (QMS) across engineering, procurement, and construction phases for oil and gas/petrochemical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project QMS throughout EPC phases.
• Review and approve contractor quality plans, Inspection & Testing Plans (ITPs), and procedures.
• Monitor inspections, testing, and documentation for compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
• Conduct surveillance audits to verify EPC quality performance and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Coordinate Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Interface with client representatives on quality matters and ensure timely close‑out of issues.
• Support turnover and compile documentation for mechanical completion.

Required profile

• 10–14 years of experience coordinating QA/QC activities in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• At least 5–7 years performing project quality control/assurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a diploma with a recognized QA/QC certification.
