QA/QC Electrical Engineer – Data Center

About the role

We are looking for a driven QA/QC Electrical Engineer to lead quality assurance and control activities on mission‑critical data‑center projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves inspecting electrical installations, monitoring contractor compliance and ensuring all work meets approved drawings, specifications and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct QA/QC inspections of MV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, busways, panels and cable installations.
• Review and monitor contractor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), inspection requests and related quality records.
• Witness testing, pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities and verify results against ITPs.
• Identify non‑conformances, issue NCRs and follow corrective actions through closure.
• Maintain accurate inspection logs, NCR registers, punch lists and quality reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven hands‑on QA/QC experience on large‑scale construction, EPC or PMC projects, preferably data‑center or mission‑critical.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and electrical codes (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC).
• Ability to read and interpret single‑line diagrams, schematics and technical specifications.

Required skills

• Electrical inspection and testing (insulation resistance, continuity, grounding).
• Experience with MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators and busways.
• Development and review of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and NCR management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
