QA/QC MEP Engineer – Jeddah Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC MEP Engineer to join our Jeddah team. You will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works meet the highest quality standards, specifications, and codes across large‑scale construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage project‑specific QA/QC plans for all MEP activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with drawings, specifications and industry standards.
• Review and approve MEP material submittals, technical data sheets and shop drawings.
• Document inspections, tests and commissioning processes.
• Identify, track and close non‑conformances (NCRs) with corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and project management on quality matters.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection records and handover documents.
• Witness factory and site acceptance tests for MEP equipment and systems.
• Promote a strong quality culture among site personnel and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience on large‑scale MEP projects (hospitals, commercial centres, industrial facilities).
• In‑depth knowledge of international MEP codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, BS Standards).
• Proven ability to review technical submittals, drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
