QC Inspector – Painting, Coating, Insulation & Fireproofing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to oversee painting, coating, insulation and fireproofing activities on oil & gas projects, ensuring compliance with Aramco standards, project specifications and international quality codes.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect painting, coating, insulation and fireproofing activities according to Aramco standards and project specifications.
• Verify surface preparation, material application, DFT, adhesion, curing and environmental conditions.
• Ensure compliance with approved ITPs, QCPs, MSDS and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections, witness tests and approve work stages.
• Review and maintain inspection records, reports and QC documentation.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve quality non‑conformances.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 quality management system compliance.
• Assist audits, client inspections and Aramco CBT requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in oil & gas or industrial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in an engineering discipline.
• Aramco Approval / CBT qualification (SAP number) – mandatory.
• Valid certifications: NACE Level II, SSPC Level II, BGAS Level I (minimum).
• Strong knowledge of Aramco standards, international codes and specifications.
• Awareness of ISO 9001:2015 (preferred).
