QC Piping Inspector

About the role

The QC Piping Inspector ensures that all piping fabrication, installation, and testing activities meet project specifications, international codes, and quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of piping systems, QA/QC procedures, and industrial inspection practices, and involves close coordination with NDT teams and project engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect piping fabrication, erection, alignment, and installation against approved drawings and specifications.
• Verify materials, fittings, valves, and supports for compliance.
• Review isometrics, welding maps, and technical documentation.
• Monitor hydro‑testing, flushing, and pressure testing activities.
• Coordinate with NDT teams, review inspection reports, and identify defects or non‑conformities.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international piping standards, project procedures, and QA/QC requirements.

Required profile

• API 570 and API 510 certification (mandatory).
• Diploma with minimum 7.5 years experience as QC Inspector or Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years experience.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, QA/QC standards, and inspection methodologies.
• Previous experience on Aramco projects.
• Passport valid for at least 6 months and international certificates valid for at least 1 year.
