Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is looking for a technically competent Quality Assurance Engineer to support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of its Quality Management System (QMS). The role reports to the QA Manager and ensures that all casting, forging, machining, heat‑treatment, welding repair and final products meet customer orders, engineering specifications, internal procedures and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the QMS in line with ISO 9001, API Q1, API 20A and API 20B.
• Prepare, review and update procedures, work instructions, forms and quality records.
• Monitor production processes (casting, forging, machining, heat treatment) for compliance and conduct process audits.
• Ensure traceability of raw materials, heat numbers, batches and finished products.
• Verify implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) at all stages.
• Maintain compliance with ASME, ASTM, API, ISO and customer specifications.
• Participate in supplier qualification audits and monitor supplier performance.
• Raise NCRs, support root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate calibration of measuring equipment and maintain accurate quality records, KPIs and management summaries.
• Conduct quality awareness training and promote a quality‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of QA experience in a foundry, forging or machining environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, API Q1, API 20A/20B, ASME, ASTM standards.
• Experience with internal audits, supplier audits and CAPA processes.
