Quality Control Supervisor - Manufacturing & Rotating Equipment

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Industrial and Energy Technology team as a Quality Control Supervisor. You will lead a group of quality inspectors, ensuring that manufacturing and rotating equipment meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and assign tasks to quality inspectors, monitoring daily productivity.
• Provide training, performance feedback and ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Attend pre‑inspection and punch‑list closure meetings with customers, managing documentation and on‑time delivery of quality records.
• Partner with production teams to guarantee smooth cell operations and adherence to procedures.
• Lead root‑cause analysis (RCA) and corrective‑and‑preventive actions (CAPA) for manufacturing quality issues.
• Monitor quality control metrics, drive cross‑functional lean improvement projects, and lead quality toolbox awareness.
• Ensure effective implementation of all Quality Control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing and rotating equipment.
• Proven experience leading a team of quality inspectors.
• Six‑Sigma Green Belt certification.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification.
• Ability to work in a global, multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Strong functional/technical, customer‑focus, communication and teamwork skills.
