Quality Engineer – Construction Site Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer (Site Operations) to ensure construction projects in Saudi Arabia meet all quality control and assurance requirements. The role works closely with site management, contractors and stakeholders to guarantee compliance with specifications, standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality control processes for construction activities on‑site.
• Perform site inspections and coordinate testing of materials, equipment and processes.
• Identify, document and manage non‑conformance issues and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, reports and non‑conformance issues.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Support internal and external audits for compliance with project specifications, local regulations and ISO 9001.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for quality processes.
• Address client and stakeholder quality concerns promptly and professionally.
• Provide quality awareness training to site teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of quality engineering experience, including 2‑3 years in site‑based construction roles in the UAE or GCC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
