Quality Engineer – Functional & Automation Testing

About the role

The Quality Engineer will ensure that web and mobile applications meet high standards of functionality, reliability and performance. You will work closely with product and development teams to validate requirements, execute test cases and support release cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration and system test cases.
• Review requirements and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios and quality considerations.
• Test web and mobile applications across browsers, iOS and Android devices and OS versions.
• Identify, document, prioritize and track defects through to resolution.
• Perform regression testing after enhancements and releases.
• Prepare test data and maintain testing documentation and evidence for change governance.
• Support test automation activities and contribute reusable test scripts.
• Validate system behavior across applications, APIs and integrated services.
• Test end‑to‑end payment flows, including transaction and reconciliation scenarios.
• Participate in release testing and production validation.
• Analyze recurring defects and contribute to quality improvements.
