Quantity Surveyor - Scaffolding Department

About the role

ABIS is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor for its Scaffolding Department in Al Jubail. The role manages and controls costs for scaffolding projects, prepares accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates and budget reports, and works closely with project managers, engineers and procurement teams. It is a full-time position based on site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs for scaffolding materials and labor.
• Develop cost estimates and budgets for scaffolding projects.
• Monitor and control project costs, identifying and reporting variances.
• Review subcontractor quotations and contracts related to scaffolding works.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost effectiveness and value engineering.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular cost reports.
• Assist in procurement activities and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably on scaffolding or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding materials, methods and industry standards.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards is a plus.
