About the role
The Radio Frequency Engineer will support the installation and integration of C4I system racks and components for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces. Working from the Technical Support Center, the engineer will verify system communications, perform RF cabling, terminations and operational testing on vessels, command centers and training facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct EMI baseline surveys before installations and post‑installation surveys to assess changes.
- Prepare detailed EMI summary reports with findings and improvement recommendations.
- Perform RF quality assessments, update documentation, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain, repair, and test communication circuits (UHF, VHF, HF, VSAT, SATCOM, LINK‑11/16) on both ashore and afloat platforms.
- Use specialized test equipment and software‑controlled diagnostics to isolate and resolve malfunctions.
- Execute equipment modifications, component‑level troubleshooting, and soldering using a 3M workstation or portable iron.
- Terminate and test RF and fiber‑optic cables, construct test cables, and manage hardware configuration control items.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum five years of experience supporting RF systems and EMI surveys.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance (if required).
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Experience working with naval or defense communication systems is preferred.
