Receiving & Data Entry Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Receiving & Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Al‑Qassim. You will be responsible for the accurate receipt of goods in a busy supermarket/hypermarket environment and for entering all related data into our systems.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods from suppliers, verify quantities against purchase orders and invoices, and inspect product condition, packaging, barcodes, and expiry dates.
• Prepare and process Goods Received Note (GRN) documents and enter all receiving data accurately into the company’s system.
• Maintain electronic and paper records, reconcile daily entries using Microsoft Excel, and ensure proper documentation of supplier invoices and delivery papers.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, inventory, accounting, and operations teams to resolve any discrepancies.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO procedures, organize receiving documents, and report any anomalies promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience receiving goods in a Saudi supermarket or hypermarket, preferably with FMCG, food, or consumer products.
• High school diploma (minimum); university degree is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and long hours, and good communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Familiarity with supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery documents, barcodes, and product specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reconciliation.
• Hands‑on experience with GRN (Goods Received Note) or similar receiving systems.
• Efficient computer and data‑entry skills.
