Reception and Retail Specialist

About the role

The Reception and Retail Specialist is the first point of contact for guests at the centre, shaping their overall experience. Based on‑site, the role blends front‑desk duties with retail management to ensure smooth operations and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Report directly to the Centre Manager and support the smooth running of the centre.
• Assist the Senior Manager in developing additional centres across other assets.
• Maintain a professional appearance of the centre and ensure all sales interactions are conducted professionally.
• Manage inventory for pre‑opening, prepare retail stock for future periods, and oversee the purchasing budget.
• Ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained at all times.
• Collaborate with the Centre Manager to develop and deliver the centre’s facilities and components.
• Support RSSE during the delivery stage to meet operational targets and project timelines.
• Become familiar with retail products, on‑site activities, and course requirements, including prerequisites and age standards.

Required profile

• People‑oriented with strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Organised and able to manage multiple administrative and retail tasks simultaneously.
• Understanding of the centre’s activities and the ability to communicate them to guests.
